BBMB Lineman Apprentice Vacancy 2026: Total 07 Posts
- Candidates must have passed the Class 10th (Matriculation) examination from a recognized Board, scoring a minimum of 40% marks.
- Candidates must hold a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in Lineman Trade from either the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or the State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT).
- An active Aadhaar Card is mandatory to register on the NAPS portal.
- Candidates must neither have completed apprenticeship training nor be undergoing it at any other establishment.
BBMB Apprentice Selection Process & Merit Criteria 2026

| Preference in Selection | 25% of total seats will be reserved/preferred for candidates possessing a residency certificate of the concerned district where the Grid Sub Station is located. If seats remain unfilled, candidates possessing the residency certificate of the State where the Grid Sub Station is located will be preferred. Any remaining vacant seats will be filled through Open Merit. |
| Tie-Breaking Rule | In case two or more candidates have the same score, the older candidate will be preferred. If date of birth is also the same, the candidate who passed the 10th exam earlier will be placed higher. |
